I was born and raised in Eugene, Oregon, and spent most of my life there until I moved to Portland to attend PSU. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in geography in 2023. My love for animals started early on. I grew up surrounded by a large diversity of pets and domesticated animals, from your classic dogs and cats, to a variety of fowl, rodents, and briefly, two goats. As a small child, I had a hobby of counting and petting every dog I saw pass by. Once I reached 400 I began to lose count! While I’ve generally become a cat person in adulthood I still have all the love for my canine friends.
I’m especially biased for the “big floofer” types such as the Great Pyrenees and Bernese Mountain Dog. I joined the Northwest Neighborhood Veterinary Hospital team in September of 2023 and it’s been very exciting getting to connect with all pets and their owners! When I’m not at work I can be found watching the birds out the window with my senior cat, Phoebe, thrifting Portland’s wonderful fashion scene, or playing video games (I’m currently hooked on Baldur’s Gate 3)!
