National Pet Cancer Awareness Month

Cancer is the one of the leading causes of death for cats and dogs, claiming millions of pets annually. The month of November is dedicated to raising awareness and educating pet owners about cancer detection and treatment. Owners should regularly examine their pets for developing bumps or sores, as they may indicate a cancerous tumor. Even small changes in appetite, water consumption and energy levels can also be subtle hints that something isn’t quite right. Regular veterinary exams remain the best way to spot cancer in its initial stages. Remember, early detection is the key to effective treatment.
