Originally from California, I moved to Portland in 2015 haven’t looked back. I didn’t grow up with pets so as soon as I was living on my own, I adopted my first cat, Harley the tortie. Harley helped spark my interest in this field. I started my veterinary medicine career at NWNVH in 2017 and after taking a year long break to explore veterinary cardiology, I made my way back here in November of 2024. This clinic feels like home to me and I’m so pleased to be back with the NWNVH family.
In addition to Harley, my husband and I currently share our home with Mack the tabby cat, Bentley the calico cat, Bosley the Pyrenees mix, Briggs the Mastiff mix, and sometimes a foster cat (or two).
When I’m not at work, I can be found chasing my toddler around or curling up on the couch with my menagerie of pets and a good fantasy book.
