Upon graduating from Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018, I underwent an additional year of training as an intern at VCA Northwest Veterinary Specialists. There I worked as an emergency doctor and worked alongside various veterinary specialists while simultaneously realizing that I crave closer relationships with people and patients – something not possible in the emergency room. For the next three years I worked at VCA 12-Mile as a general practitioner before joining the Northwest Neighborhood team in September 2022. My special interests include internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, dentistry and geriatric comfort. However, I really just love the variety I get to see as a general practice veterinarian!
I live with my husband, KC, and our mischievous animals, Arya (cattle dog) and Samwise (cat). While not working, I can be found enjoying food and beer around Portland, cooking at home, playing futsal, running, paddle-boarding, backpacking, reading historical fiction or watching fantasy shows.
