Angelica

From Pharmacy Technician, to Zookeeper, to Emergency medicine, to Primate Center, and now here at NWNVH. I have been on a whirlwind of a career path, but animals and medicine have always been part of the journey. I have a huge soft spot for the kitties, big and small. And if you have a spicy kitty I’m sure to fall in love with them. Having worked with tigers, lions, pumas and many other big cats, I think that the little domestic cats are still the scariest but I’m not afraid and will tell them how cute they are and how much I love them!

I have such a huge passion for wildlife and conservation, how could I not after growing up watching Jane Goodall, Steve Irwin, the Kratt Brothers, David Attenborough and so many others. My lifelong goal is to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician and move to Africa so I can work with the Cheetah Conservation Fund.

If I’m not working with cats during the day, I’m at home cuddling my 2 cats; Dennis and Nyx.

I grew up in central Washington but always loved Oregon on my annual family vacations here. Portland captured my heart and I moved here about 2 years ago. I’ve been exploring and falling even more in love with all the greenery and native creatures.
