I grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico, alongside our golden retriever, Brit. When I left for school, I adopted two kitties, Joxer and Leia, and my love of animals took hold. Fortunately, Albuquerque offered an excellent Veterinary Technology program, which set me on the path to a career in veterinary medicine.

After graduating, I moved to San Francisco, got married, and adopted a super-mutt named Jax. We moved to Portland, where we welcomed Ellie, a seven-year-old Mini Australian Shepherd who was navigating some pretty wild midlife changes- but she adapted quickly.

I joined the team at NWNVH in 2017. In 2021, I took some time away to welcome a baby and grow our family. Now that my little one has started school, I’m delighted to be back at this wonderful veterinary hospital, working alongside such an amazing team.
