Angela joined the Northwest Neighborhood Veterinary team after moving to Portland in 2014. She grew up on the east coast and has lived in Houston, Seattle, Chicago and New York and has a family of pets she collected along the way. They include Idli, an Indian street dog, a Brooklyn bodega cat named Ali, a kitty from the alleys of Montreal called Minou, and Pablo, the 3-Legged Wonder Kitty from Long Island.
Angela’s move to Portland was prompted by a desire to relocate to a place where her dog would have space to run. She discovered NNVH after our Dr. Maun was able to diagnose her cat Ali with a mystery illness that turned out to be a rare fungal disease. So when Angela decided to pursue a career in the veterinary field, she knew she wanted to work at NNVH.
Her hope is to become a doctor’s assistant when she’s not helping patients and clients at work, Angela spends her time driving Idli to adventures in the gorge, on Mt. Hood, and at the coast.
